BCCC at the Barnet Christmas Fayre

The BCCC put on a display of vehicles at the 2025 Barnet Christmas Fayre for the fifth year in a row and managed to collect an amazing £700 + for the Club’s adopted charity, Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice. The money was raised by selling raffle tickets for ‘Dream Rides’ with the three winners able to choose rides in the vehicles of their choice.  We have to say ’vehicles’ as Howard Prior brought an early Morris Commercial lorry from the Whitewebbs Museum of Transport and there was also a Mini van in its working livery from the same source. Of the more sporty cars, there was a most desirable ‘E’ type Jaguar and an MGB which is a regular competitor in the Monte Carlo Rallye Historiquel . Chris Skinner’s tiny Fiat was popular as Chris allowed children to sit in it for a small donation to Noah’s Ark.  The weather was typical Fayre weather (i.e. wet!), but the crowds came out and there were happy faces all around as you can see in the following pictures taken by Chris Frost.
